Chive-iliscious

It's a delicious time of year. The weather is stunning and it's a wonderful time to be out. The other day my mother surprised me with this lovely bunch of chives to put in my herb garden. They are stunning.

Last night, I worked in the herb garden separating the chives, dividing lemongrass, and pulling out some renegade mint that is determined to leave the coop. It was olfactory overload in the nicest possible way. Just lovely.

I've news tonight that my Grandmother is not well. She's 102 and my thoughts and prayers are with her tonight.

Post script: I've heard this afternoon that my Grandmother is feeling much better this afternoon.

  4. Thanks Wiz. I love the bloom on the chive. They would be worth having even if they weren't edible. :)
