Milton Portrait

Do we think Milton's getting a bit stuck on himself? I mean after all, he is a Z-List Blog celebrity.

I do think that perhaps things are getting a bit out of hand. I mean I've started a whole new, devoted to Milton folder in my photo files. It's just that he's always striking a pose. How can I resist that, really? He just naturally "works it".

On a divergent note, I've been meaning for a while to mention Tenn, or as he is also known Tennison the Wonder Dog. A few people have asked after him and I thought I should fill in my few remaining old time readers.

In my early years of blogging, at my old blog home journalspace, Tenn was a frequent feature. Sadly, for both of us he's becoming quite elderly for a "retriever style". He now lives with my parents as they are more available to take him out when he needs and have an overall better schedule for him. I go over at least once a week for a walk around the neighborhood but I do miss his companioship as he and I have now been family for almost thirteen years. He's not the photogenic dog he once was as his hair has thinned and he has problems with recurring skin infections but he is as loyal, intelligent, and bold (especially if you have a bit of people food around) as ever.

  1. I remember Tennison! Glad to know he's with your parents. Our old dog Lucy is on my mom's farm.
    I like Milton's white mustache!

  2. I'm so glad that my parents are able to care for him. They've been very generous.

Haven't we all been blogging a long time Kate? I think yours was one of the first JS blogs I read,

  3. Awwww, I miss Tenn. Glad he is doing well with your parents. Good to see Milton again too. It's been so long since we've seen him.

  4. Hey Andi, good to see you. I seeing Tenn every day but Milton's a good companion too. He takes me on walks now and then. :)

  5. Could you dig out and post a milton kitten picture, specifically, the one of him in the grass? There was another great one which I seem to remember was him on a log.

  6. Fin, I will look for both of those. They are two of my favorites.

  7. I'm so happy to hear that Tenn is with your parents and doing well in spite of getting a little older- but then again aren't we all?

I think that Milton and Mister M would be big pals. Oh the trouble those two could get into. Milton is quite the superstar, of course he should have his own folder filled with many poses of him.

I love this shot- the lighting is great!

  8. I do think Mister M and Milt would get along. It would be fun to see what they could cook up.

  9. Milton totally deserves a folder all of his own. He is such a singular cat!

Please play nicely.
